Senior Sales Representative DACH - Cologne, Germany

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced and high-quality IT sale professional (m/f) to join a company at the forefront of the CMS sector as a Senior Sales Representative DACH. The position is based in Cologne, Northrhine Westfalia.

Your Responsibilities:

You will focus on growing the DACH business by bringing in new business. The position requires a sales expertise with a proven track record of prospecting and closing new business specifically in the field of CMS Software but also a genuine interest in technology and especially in Content and Ecommerce platforms. You're a driver and a self-starter; you don't need someone to get the ball rolling for you. You like your partners and customers and truly want to serve and help them and you always want to provide value.

This role reports to the CCO.

Essential Tasks:

  • Consistently establishing eZ Systems as a leading provider of CMS in DACH
  • Subscription and professional services sales quota attainment
  • Developing and executing strategic sales plans to bring in new sales
  • Following the company sales process methodology and executing on all stages of the sales cycle
  • React to inbound leads while actively prospecting for new business opportunities through outbound initiatives including cold calling, email, and lead sourcing
  • Building and cultivating customer and partner relationships by initiating communications and conducting follow-up qualification in order to move new business opportunities into the sales funnel.
  • Ensure the delivery of all sale forecasts annually with maximum revenue achieved
  • Assisting in the development of the annual marketing plan
  • Participating in conferences, tradeshows and other events which will enhance sales initiatives
  • Manage, maintaining, and providing reports and opportunity status using our CMS
  • Liaise, communicate and establish effective working relationships with customers, partners, internal departments, suppliers, and stakeholders

Your Profile:

The successful candidate will have solid expertise in enterprise software solutions & services to any of the core market industries for a minimum of 5+ years. You will likely have a solid track record of consistent quota achievement using a recognized sales methodology.

The right candidate will be quick-thinking, have a natural passion for sales and how technology can solve business challenges, as well as a strong desire to be successful in business.

You have a positive attitude, love the idea of working in a sales environment and get a huge buzz from the thrill of bringing in a sale.

You will be supported by a global and local marketing team plus inside sales, pre-sales, customer success center, professional services and a network of leading global partners.

Your German languages skills are on a native level and you are proficient in spoken and written English.
