Channel Sales Executive DACH (m/f/d) - Cologne, Germany

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced and high-quality Senior Sales professional (m/f) to join a company at the forefront of the CMS sector as a Channel Sales Executive DACH (m/f/d). The position is based in Cologne, Northrhine Westfalia.

Your Responsibilities:

The position requires a sales expertise with a proven track record of prospecting and closing new business specifically in the field of CMS Software but also a genuine interest in technology and especially in Content and Ecommerce platforms. You're a driver and a self-starter; you don't need someone to get the ball rolling for you. You like your partners and customers and truly want to serve and help them and you always want to provide value.

This role reports to the CCO.

Essential Tasks:

  • Work with potential and existing partners in DACH to reach targets
  • Build trust and credibility with partners in order to accelerate sales by / together with partners
  • Responsible for prospecting and selling eZ Systems Products in DACH with an opportunity to extend to global markets. Develop a plan and manage your process of bringing the identifies sales opportunities to a successful close via or together with an identified Partner
  • Accountable for establishing sales strategies and mobilizing the appropriate eZ resources to close the opportunity (e.g. PS, CS and ENGN) together with a Partner
  • Identify opportunities to promote eZ products and services to current and prospective customers in the assigned territory or industry vertical and establish relationships and secure contracts with new customers to achieve an individual annual sales quota
  • React to inbound leads while actively prospecting for new business opportunities through outbound initiatives including cold calling, email, and lead sourcing
  • Interact with new clients and new partners via conference calls, email and face-to-face meetings to facilitate client deliverables and marketing meetingsStrategically partner with both business and technical teams internally and externally to identify technology solutions
  • Identify and recruit new partner by scheduling meetings and monitor partner business and guide the potential partner through the evaluation process
  • Work in Partner Management for partners, establish successful relations with the partner and support them to evaluate eZ as a future tool for their CMS projects and work regularly with partners to help those selling subscriptions
  • Manage all administrative aspects of the assignment including, but not limited to account profiles, sales pipeline records, prospective customer organization charts, consistent with eZ’s sales best practices.
  • Contributes to team success, putting team interests ahead of self-interest; effectively work across orgs to address business issues

Your Profile:

The successful candidate will have solid expertise in enterprise software solutions & services / Partner Management to any of the core market industries for a minimum of 5+ years. You will likely have a solid track record of consistent quota achievement using a recognized sales methodology

You need to have a Sales DNA; this is NOT an ivory tower partner management job. This person must want to sell and be comfortable with carrying and exceeding quota

The right candidate will be quick-thinking, have a natural passion for sales and how technology can solve business challenges, as well as a strong desire to be successful in business

You have a positive attitude, love the idea of working in a sales environment and get a huge buzz from the thrill of bringing in a sale

You will be supported by a global and local marketing team plus inside sales, pre-sales, customer success center, professional services and a network of leading global partners. Your German languages skills are on a native level and you are proficient in spoken and written English
