eZ publish 3.9

Expected release date: December, 2006

The eZ publish 3.9 feature request list was created on the basis of feedback from customers, partners and community members. This task list describes the features that have been chosen to be implemented in eZ publish 3.9. Since most of the features in this release have been requested by the community, this release has been unofficially named "the community release".

Tasks for eZ publish 3.9 were given different priorities. Priority "1" tasks are the most important, followed by priority "2" and then priority "3". We expected to implement most (if not all) of the priority "1" and "2" tasks, and then implement priority "3" tasks as time permited. In the lists below, you'll see what will finnaly go into eZ publish 3.9 and what will not

Most of these were skipped because of time constraints; others were not included because we were unable to get permission from the contributors to include their code.

  • 18th of October : eZ publish 3.9 alpha1
  • 30th of October : eZ publish 3.9 beta1
  • 16th of November : eZ publish 3.9 Release Candiate 1
  • December: eZ publish 3.9.0 (final)
