SJSD is the real FCKeditor integration for eZ publish: it generates native eZ xmltext format, rather than xhtml. SJSD provides a fully integrated, feature complete and extensible WYSIWYG open source online editor for eZ publish. It is implemented in the form of a FCKeditor plugin and an eZ publish extension and requires no modification to FCKeditor/eZ publish core. SJSD uses AJAX to communicate with eZ server.

Description

SJSD provides a plugin for FCKeditor, so you can upgrade FCKeditor easily.
SJSD is distributed as an extension for eZ publish.

Almost all the functionalities found in eZ OE are implemented in SJSD. Please have a try.

This project is hosted in SF, svn is available here:

Currently no demo site is public available, but I will probably setup one in SF.

HELP WANTED
A logo for SJSD would be wonderful, so if you are in a mood of contribution, please do not hesitate to email me your logo ;)

REQUIREMENTS:
eZ publish 3.8 or above ((3.7 is not supported anymore, unless someone volunteer to work on this)
FCKeditor 2.2 (download from http://www.fckeditor.net/)

INSTALL
1. unzip sjsd-0.3.0.zip under extension dir of ez publish
2. unzip the zip file of FCKeditor 2.2 under extension/sjsd/
3. enable the sjsd extension in your admin interface
4. clear all cache (yes all, not only template)
5. If your ezpublish installation is virtual host and rewrite rule is on, make sure *.html/*.xml/*.js can be accessed directly
6. if you upgrade from previous version, make sure you clean your browser cache before using the new one

that's it, enjoy.

How to activate the editor ?

I followed instructions :
- downloaded SJSD and unzipped it in th /extension dir
- downloaded FCKEditor 2.2 and unzipped it to /extension/sjsd/FCKeditor
- Activated the SJSD extension in my admin console
- Cleaned all caches

Still I have the old OE4 !!!


=> you must deactivate the ezdhtml extension

Hello,

I've installed the extension SJSD to use the FCK Editor, i've configured the library of pictures, then i can put a picture in my textarea, but when i publish my page, and then when i want to modify again, i've the error : "Can't fetch object. href: , objectID: , nodeID:" in the textarea... why do i have this message ??

my fckeditor is not in relation with the library of EZ, is it possible to make that ?? how ??

when i look at the properties of the picture, the url is : "/var/my_site/storage/fckeditor/Image/Image2.gif"...

Can you help me please ??

Hello,

I've installed the extension SJSD to use the FCK Editor, i've configured some news styles in the 'fckstyles.xml' file, and when i apply one style, for example the source is :




<span class="style1">test</span>


and the defintion of the style in the 'fckstyles.xml' file is :




<Style name="style1" element="span">


        <Attribute name="class" value="style1" />


</Style>


but when i publish my page, i've the error : "Can not determine the name for the custom tag: 'test'. Ignored."

Do you know why i have this error ??

Problems with tag's attributes

Hi,
I've some problems with different tag's attributes.
I try to use cell properties at a <td> and I define background color or height but when I try to publish the object, ez publish show an error which seems like that: "It's not allowed height attribute at <td>" or "It's not allowed bgcolor attribute at <td>"

It is any way to allow this kind of attributes at different tags, f.e. at <td>?

I runs SJSD with ez 3.8.0.

I create an article object, then upload new an image. The error dialog-box shown as follows:

Returned value is not in valid JSON format: <HTML><HEAD><META HTTP-EQUIV="REFRESH" CONTENT="0" URL="http://admin.ektanet.com.vn/index...t;BODY></BODY></HTML>

Logging user is administrator.

SJSD does not work on ez 3.8.0

I follow the installation instruction but the SJSD editor does not work, "enable editor" button appear but the FDKeditor no.

problem with &Scaron (letter ¦) in FCK editor.

I've just installed sjsd extension on my eZ site and it works OK, except that when I the letter "¦" in it and publish the object, this letter is translated into: "&Scaron". Also "¨" is translated into "&scaron". I tried it both on eZ 3.7 and 3.8, and both on latin2 and utf-8 sites, and the problem is the same.

How can I fix that?

Is this an eZ problem, sjsd problem or FCKeditor problem?

Hehe, I thought someone would ask this:
SuoJieSuoDe is the pinyin (a system to represent chinese pronounciation) for 4 Chinese characters, which would be traslated into English as
What you see is what you get (WYSIWYG)

What does SuoJianSuoDe mean by the way?
I'll have an attempt at a logo once my exams are over (2 weeks), and knowing what it meant might help ;-)

My site runs with ez 3.7.4.

I clicked on "Insert object" button, "Insert object" dialog-box appeared. When I clicked on "Upload new" button, nothing happened.
