The eZ Publish lightweight package is for users having already a good knowlege of eZ Publish, who are not willing to install all extensions available with eZ Publish. This package includes only the mandatory extensions to have eZ Publish running but does not enable more advanced features.

If you are not an advanced user, you might not find the expected features of ez Publish in this release. You might consider the full installation package.

eZ Publish 4.3 is available with a wide range of certified extensions from eZ Systems, thanks as well to some trustworthy community contributors. Some of them are bundled with the distribution, preactivated and directly usable, others are bundled but not activated as manual setup might need to be done, others are still available as standalone extensions.
