Varnish Cache stores web pages in memory so the web servers don’t have to create the same web page over and over again. The web server only recreates a page when it is changed. Additionally Varnish Cache can continue to serve content when your web- or database servers are down, reducing unwanted downtime.

eZ Accelerator offers a tight integration between eZ Publish and Varnish Cache. eZ Accelerator has been developed and supported by Novactive and Varnish Software and certified by eZ Systems.
